Here's to all the girls that stand up extra tall

Here's to all the girls that have the perfect guy
Here's to all the girls that stand out, don't be shy
To the women that make their mark by teaching kids to write
To the girls that don't hide away, the ones that stand and fight
To the girls that walk through your heart and leave a mark so deep
One that's forever lasting, one you'll always keep
To the girls that tell you you're special and deserve the best in life
To the ones that help you out when you're in a bit of strife
So here's to all the girls, being our mother, teacher or friend
The ones that stay in our hearts, to the very end
