I came into the world
A small and fragile little girl
You nurtured me, you held me tight
You got up at all hours of the night
As I grew up, you guided me
Uncovering the path, making it easy to see
I thank you for all the times you picked me up when I was down
And I thank you for helping me, and just being around
So now on this special day
I am sending all my love your way
