Fading Away

Throw it up, get it out
While inside you scream and shout
Take the weight off, see your ribs
When your parents ask, just tell them fibs
Look in the mirror, disgusted with yourself
Secretly in the store put food back on the shelf
They offer you chocolate, you politely decline
You cannot indulge, that's stepping out of line
The girls at school don't call you fat anymore
They look at you with remorse as you're collapsed on the floor
Maybe it wasn't worth it, all the pain you went through
Those girls didn't realise how much those words really hurt you

I won't cry myself to sleep at night
You're not worth the inner fight
I talk to you and you just don't care
You can't see me dying inside; that despair
I can't believe I trusted you
I let you in, look what you put me through
I thought you were mature for your age
I thought you were different, like I'd turned a new page
Turns out I was wrong, you're just a selfish little boy
And here's stupid me, just another little toy

Years of Fun

Lets party hard and dance till we drop
Lets follow our dreams and make it to the top
Lets tell those guys they aren't worth the pain
Lets run around laughing in the rain
Lets travel the world and make memories to keep
Lets find beautiful oceans and dive down deep
Lets read book that will expand our minds
Lets design a pair of shoes that are one of a kind
Here's to the laughter, the tears and short dresses
To the fun in the heels and the morning after messes
To the girls that stick by me through the good and the bad
With my girls, there's many more years of fun to be had

Missing You

I miss your laugh, I miss your smile
I miss how you'd just wanna talk for a while
I miss going to your place and watching a DVD
I miss when the scary part came and how you'd cuddle me
I miss how you'd walk around wearing only a jumper and jeans
I miss how you'd tell me about your favourite rugby teams
I miss how you'd hold me tight when something made me upset
I miss how you'd tell me you loved me and you wouldn't let me forget
But there's something that gets me and makes me wonder
I don't miss you, I miss the guy I thought you were

Miss Vearer

Take your time as you do leave
I wonder if you can hear our hearts heave
The wind may change, as do the seasons
But our love for you stays, with all its reasons
When you started here 18 months past
A bitter old woman you were classed
But through the time we found your other side
Then our feelings of dislike quickly died
Now we realise you are an amazing lady
Bright and happy yet mysterious; maybe
You are willing to help us in our times of need
Through our English studies, you would lead
Your heart was in this job, as well as your head
So now this is when our tears will be shed
We thank you very much for all you have done
And when you shared our moments of fun
I guess now you've probably had enough
We send you on your way with all of our love

If my heart had a voice it would sing for you
It would sing a song of joy, a song that was true
No matter what happened, you would always be the one
The one to hold me tight, the one with whom I would have all my fun
We will grow old together and I will never let you go
We were made for eachother, that I will always know
Then when it is time to move on and we are apart
I will love you forever, you will be close to my heart

I love you because you put up with all our crap

I love you because you have a beautiful smile
I love you because you have elegance and style
I love you because you'll fix me if I crack
I love you because I know you'll always love me back
